Learn, collaborate, and care for patients
At the College of Optometry, you will develop clinical skills that place patients at the heart of care and while learning to collaborate effectively across disciplines. The Doctor of Optometry (OD) programme covers neuro-optometry, vision therapy, low vision rehabilitation, and care for individuals with developmental disabilities affecting vision.
Guided by expert faculty and clinical preceptors, you’ll gain hands-on experience using advanced technology while strengthening your technical skills, empathy, and competence. You’ll also join one of the nation’s largest interprofessional practice and education (IPE) programmes, learning alongside students from other health fields to improve patient outcomes. Whether you choose to work in private practice, hospitals, or community clinics, you’ll graduate ready to protect, restore, and enhance vision with professional expertise.
