BMus (Hons) Music Performance & Master of Music (MMus) – Piano

For Alina Pritulenko, Trinity Laban’s proven to be nothing short of transformative. Coming from a country where the opportunity to thrive in a music career is relatively limited, it’s been life-changing for Pritulenko to enter a city and a school where her mastery in piano can come alive in many projects and performances.

“Trinity Laban has given me everything I could have ever imagined: long-term friendships, my professor — who I absolutely adore and respect — an amazing chance to live in a city as vibrant as London with a thriving music scene and innumerable competitions and performances that never cease to astound me,” she says.

In 2023, Pritulenko graduated from the BMus (Hons) Music Performance programme with first-class honours and a rare 100% score. But that’s only a fraction of everything she gained from the BMus.

Performing experience in historic venues across London like the Old Royal Naval College Chapel. Dismantling common misconceptions about the piano through her studies and her performances. An impactful CoLab project called “Stories from the Inside.” 

CoLab is a two-week festival held every spring where students, staff, and visiting artists from around the world collaborate on projects that are eclectic, experimental, and heavily rooted in real-life stories.

Today, Pritulenko is part of the Master of Music (MMus) programme, receiving a full-ride scholarship from organisations like Trinity College London, The Savilians, and more.

“I was lucky enough to collaborate with The Irene Taylor Trust, who work with some of the most vulnerable and excluded individuals in our society,” she says. “They support young people, ex-prisoners rebuilding their lives on release, and people of all ages in prisons.”
