As a world-leading conservatoire making an impact across the UK, Europe, and beyond, Trinity Laban redefines excellence and dedication. Performers here aren’t just masters of their art — they’re risk takers, change makers, and the breakers of societal norms and tradition. They’re uplifted by the creative energy that livens the city of London, and they’re en route to leave a global mark on the industry.

At Trinity Laban, students develop the skills, confidence, and creativity needed to succeed in the highly competitive world of performing arts. The achievements of their community speak for itself. A graduate and his orchestra are set to perform forgotten pieces of written music found in the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. This comes after an eight-year journey in research. Another graduate from their piano performance course turned to her roots to a blend of classical pieces with Bollywood tunes which won her Trinity Laban’s Innovation Award in 2024. Others have collected some of the world’s biggest awards, from an Oscar for Best Costume Design to the 2023 Mercury Prize.

So whether you’re in music, musical theatre or contemporary dance; a bachelor’s or master’s student — Trinity Laban guarantees your development into an artistic pioneer who’s ready to take the world by storm.

Building a real-world portfolio

The students of Trinity Laban are making waves around the world as artists in dance, music, and musical theatre who’ve mastered their creative voice. They’re first-class performers who’ve gone on to lead the scene as practitioners and educators in companies and productions like the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra, English Touring Opera, Cirque du Soleil, and more.

It’s the kind of success students find when they’ve got access to courses designed to build versatile skills across performance and entrepreneurship, and numerous academic partnerships opening up opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and real-world learning. With career services accessible to students and alumni, Trinity Laban brings the global stage to its students, and sets them up for long-standing careers.

“I found that the Fulbright scholarship has really helped me to see myself a lot more, to understand myself from a place of the research space that was offered, to really dive into my practice,” Corprew says. “It was a chance for me to not only be able to go inward, but to go outward as well — to see that this is where my practice is and where it can go in the future.”
