Nishitha Powlinus, another Indian student pursuing her LLM at Suffolk Law, loves to make the most of her time abroad. "Every Sunday, I never fail to go to the church in Boston, the St. Anthony Shrine," she says. "After that, I try to make meal preps for the week, at least for the first three days of the week."
With over 40 active law student groups and associations on campus, Suffolk Law students have no shortage of activities to join. The Suffolk Rambling Club, for example, organizes walks in Suffolk, North Essex and occasionally Norfolk counties. "I really enjoy these nature experiences and exploring the Atlantic coast of New England," Powlinus shares.

She had the pleasure of meeting the President of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation, as well as judges from the state’s Supreme Judicial Court. One of the justices even regularly teaches evidence and trial advocacy at Suffolk Law. "I am thankful to my professional responsibility professor, Attorney Ward, for arranging this visit for us. He invited us to the event and it was a very prestigious experience for us," she says.
