The MSc in Materials for Energy Innovation & Sustainability

The MSc in Materials for Energy Innovation & Sustainability brings materials science into direct conversation with clean energy technologies, sustainable manufacturing, and circular economy systems. The programme builds expertise in advanced materials for energy and sustainability, while working with approaches that reflect current practice — including data-driven and AI-supported methods used in materials development. Teaching ties to active research, advanced facilities, and faculty working across energy and sustainability domains.

The cohort is intentionally international, giving you exposure to perspectives shaped by different markets and policy environments. The structure is concise: one year full-time, two years part-time. Both routes ensure you leave with a clear idea of how materials perform within energy systems, and how those systems can be improved through better design and engineering.
