Master of Public Administration (MPA)
The MPA empowers early-career professionals to tackle today's most urgent policy challenges. The two-year programme offers an in-depth look at approaches to policy through academic skills and practical application. Year one focuses on building a foundation in empirical methods, political science, and economic analysis. In year two, students put this knowledge to work in a six-month Capstone Project, where they collaborate with external clients. They also have the flexibility to study option courses across LSE and choose a specialism; Economic Policy, International Development, Inequality and Poverty, Social Impact or International Political Economy, to be a part of their degree title.
Graduates leave the programme with the expertise to navigate complex policy environments and drive meaningful change. Whether in the public, private, or non-profit sectors, alumni are prepared to lead, innovate, and influence global governance.
