Gino Franco Fazzi walked away from his old finance career to bet on something new: Data Science at ITU. He earned his BSc and MSc while working as a teaching assistant, splitting time between learning and teaching. Those first semesters shook his confidence, as stepping into an unfamiliar field left him unsure where he was headed.

Then the “Large-Scale Data Analysis” and “Data Science in Production” courses gave him something to hold on to: real, practical skills that employers actually want. Presenting at an international conference took things further. "That was an incredible experience that broadened my perspective and contributed significantly to my professional development," Fazzi says.

Teaching became his training ground. This was when he found himself simplifying hard problems and explaining them clearly. Today, this experience is what he leans on daily as a data acquisition and market expansion data analyst at AudienceProject, a SaaS company.
