Tanvi Vashisth, a student from India, chose Western, Sydney City because of its welcoming campus and global reputation. Now a graduate, she knew it was the best choice for her goals.
Drawn to the diverse opportunities within the allied health field, Vashisth opted for the Health Science program. It gave her a deep and broad understanding of health principles, critical thinking skills, and a multidisciplinary lens to view the discipline — all essential for her advanced studies in Public Health and Global Health.
Currently working as a casual Administrative Officer at Prince of Wales Hospital, Vashisth credits her Western, Sydney City education for her success. "The curriculum and practical experiences I gained during my program equipped me with the organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills essential for this position,” Vashisth says. “The hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge I acquired have enabled me to excel in my role and contribute effectively to the hospital's operations."
