Czar Recto, a Filipino student at Western, Sydney City campus, is pursuing a Bachelor of Information Systems with a major in Big Data. Previously a Business Management graduate, Recto is now actively involved in student life and works as a Product Specialist for Apple Sydney.
The university’s focus on careers and positive experiences from relatives drew Recto in. He loved its welcoming culture and felt cared for by tutors and advisors.
Recto’s favourite classes blend challenges with hands-on engagement. "Programming Fundamentals" taught him to code, while "Social Web Analytics" deepened his understanding of Big Data. "Information Systems Deployment and Management" provided real-world experience through a client project.
Studying in Sydney is about growth for Recto. He enjoys meeting people from various backgrounds and embracing new opportunities.
