Studying Industrial and Entrepreneurial Engineering readies students for the new economy where entrepreneurs with technical skills come out on top. This programme fuses a traditional industrial engineering curriculum with an entrepreneurial focus, giving students a one-of-a-kind education that emphasises design, creativity and innovation.
“Because our WMU Industrial and Entrepreneurial Engineers (IEE) are immersed in Design Thinking during their entrepreneurial engineering design training, they graduate from a programme with skills to identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs,” explains Dr. Tycho Fredericks, professor.
“This programme empowers students with a set of tools that are adaptable to what their future brings and builds confidence and leadership skills for generations to come.”
