As a cybersecurity major, you will explore ways to recognise cybersecurity threats and attacks, and develop your knowledge in data, software, system, human, organisational and societal security. You'll learn ethical aspects and cyber laws related to each of these cybersecurity areas. You’ll receive knowledge and hands-on skills in secure software development, host-based cyber defense, computer incidence response, and ethical hacking and penetration testing. Interdisciplinary courses in cryptography, information ethics and cybercrime add a well-rounded perspective on the field.
