The College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS) supports the development of emerging technologies that are focused on health behaviours by offering programmes that dive deep into technologies that enable remote teaching and monitoring of physical activity and fitness compliance in rural areas.

By partnering with CBI, the CNHS faculty facilitates the development of new devices used in physical therapy and rehabilitation. In turn, the centre benefits from research internships connected to the college's interprofessional health sciences PhD programmes with rotations in engineering, medicine, and business.
