“When picking a university, Salford stood out to me. I heard that Salford was known for its outstanding education, and after carefully researching the course, I understood that the modules were robust and up-to-date. During the programme, I learned exciting scientific and technical skills that I now employ in my current role. These include DNA/RNA extraction, cell culturing, gene cloning and agarose gel electrophoresis. As part of my master’s, the university allowed my classmates and I to attend the Genomic Festival Conference, which was a fantastic learning and networking experience."
