Meet the Alumni Driving Change
This MA programme helps students explore the evolution of Public Relations and its role in today’s digital world. You'll dive into PR ethics, journalism, video, and social media. In your first trimester, you’ll learn about PR history, content creation, and digital opportunities. In the second trimester, you’ll complete a 10-day industry placement, gaining experience and building your portfolio. You’ll also analyse PR campaigns, work on group projects, and pitch ideas to clients.
MA Public Relations and Digital Communications

MSc Public Health takes a multidisciplinary, evidence-based approach, focusing on the social factors influencing health. Aligned with the Public Health Skills and Knowledge Framework (2016), this programme equips students with the skills to interpret health research and use it to shape policy and practice. You’ll develop expertise in public health, epidemiology, research methods, and quantitative analysis while exploring health inequality and social determinants of health. Through taught modules, you’ll gain practical knowledge and engage with key public health issues at both national and global levels.
MSc Public Health

This MSc Management programme hones interpersonal and professional skills, preparing students for leadership in today’s increasingly complex world. After completing the core modules, you’ll choose one elective to tailor your learning to your passions. MSc Management

The MSc Project Management programme explores how AI, automation, and digital advancements shape the industry. Taught by academics and practitioners, it covers benefits management, agile and hybrid methods, change management, strategic PMO, and output-driven project management. You’ll also learn about data analytics, emotional intelligence (EQ), and advanced project management tools for effective stakeholder management. By combining technical knowledge with practical skills, this programme prepares you to manage projects across any industry. Students also have an option to complete up to a year’s paid placement at the end of the course.
MSc Project Management

This MSc programme provides a strong foundation in control engineering and intelligent systems, with exposure and engagement in mobile robotics. Taught by a research-active team, the course takes place in advanced labs, where you’ll work with robotics platforms, MATLAB toolboxes, and programming languages. Set in a leading UK robotics research centre, the programme covers automation control systems, interactive visualisations, AI, and mobile robotics. The dissertation module allows you to plan and implement a robotics or automation project.

MSc Biotechnology equips science professionals with advanced laboratory skills and industry-relevant expertise. Led by a research-active team, the programme covers key areas like molecular biology, proteomics, genomics, medical biotechnology, novel therapeutics, and green (plant) biotechnology.
