MSc Environmental and Engineering Geology

This full-time, postgraduate programme combines environmental and engineering geology to provide learners with an outstanding foundation for a career in industry and consultancy. It teaches the principles of geology, geotechnical and environmental sciences while encouraging an appreciation of new technologies.

By merging the foundational and the new, students are compelled to hone interdisciplinary approaches to site investigation, soil and rock characterisation and the assessment of environmental contamination. To achieve optimum employability, students spend time understanding site investigations or training in chemistry, earth science and physical geography laboratories or a geotechnical laboratory.
