International students get lots of support from the university and School of Biomedical Sciences.  They receive direct help from a personal tutor and can contact the faculty office for assistance on coursework submission, assessment of modules, exam arrangements, or course transfers.

Professors go above and beyond in guiding students. "The lectures delivered are well planned to let the students ease into the ways to understand academic learning in the university," shares the second-year Clinical Physiology student.

Outside the classroom, hands-on exposure complement the theoretical knowledge students gain. "I loved learning about the heart and applying my knowledge when having day release placement at Derriford hospital."
