This one-year in-person MBA is built for recent graduates who want to hit the ground running. You'll cover key business functions -- including operations, communications and finance -- and graduate with the skills employers actually want. Rooted in Lang School's Business as a Force for Good® mission, sustainability and responsible management run through everything you'll learn, from Financial Accounting to Strategic Management.
MBA
Designed to equip you for large-scale research projects, the programme positions you for future doctoral studies or competitive industry hiring. Your first year covers five core courses, two research seminars, and one elective, with opportunities to collaborate with faculty on research. From there, an advisory committee guides you through completing either a thesis or an applied research project – across two flexible pathways built around your career goals.
MSc Marketing and Consumer Studies
Offered on campus or online for busy working professionals, this programme develops depth in areas of project management related to leadership, human resource management, and sustainable business. You’ll gain the knowledge and skills needed to tackle project leadership challenges facing your own organisation. Coursework combines the academic rigour of evidence-based management with real-world applications to provide specialised project management training that enhances your leadership and decision-making abilities.
Master of Project Management
This programme is built to prepare you for a tenure-track academic role. You study on campus over three-plus years, moving through coursework, a qualifying exam, a thesis proposal, research, and a thesis defence. You can specialise in marketing and consumer behaviour, services management, or organisational leadership. Alternatively, curate your very own customised programme aligned with other areas of business research, such as entrepreneurship, supply chain management, project management, real estate, accounting research, or sport management.

Immersive learning beyond the classroom
Real-world problem solving is a major component of LANG's curriculum, embedded in a wide variety of experiential learning opportunities, like the annual LANG Graduate Conference. This signature event brings together students from across the school's graduate programmes — the MBA, MA in Leadership, and Master of Project Management — for keynote presentations, expert panels, workshops, and interactive learning experiences led by industry leaders and faculty. Past conferences have tackled themes like leading through uncertainty, drawing on speakers from government, consulting, and technology alongside Lang faculty.
The conference extends learning beyond the classroom by opening doors to meaningful professional connections. You’ll engage with peers, alumni, faculty, professional associations, and members of Lang's industry advisory board. Game-changing Research Powers Partnerships
The connection to sport goes further than a competition win for Lang undergraduates. Lang is now an Official Supplier to the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC) through 2028. Since 2020, Lang has supported CPC's Games preparation through data analysis, stakeholder consultations, and brand and impact research. That work has only grown in scale: the research project currently underway for Milano Cortina 2026 is the most substantial in CPC's history.

Get Canadian work experience while you study
Starting in September 2026, M.Eng. students will be eligible for the work experience program WEX, a paid four-month, non-credit industry work opportunity created for course-based master’s students. WEX is designed to give students meaningful Canadian industry exposure while they are still completing their degree.
This is more than a line on a résumé. Through WEX, students can apply advanced engineering knowledge in a real workplace, gain experience with North American professional practices, and build networks that matter when it is time to search for a job. WEX roles are paid, full-time work experiences, and students are supported through preparation, applications, interviews, and the employment process by the Experiential Learning Hub.

This year, Shreya shone in the Senior Musical "We Will Rock You!" while also participating in boxing. "The musical helped me grow as a creative person," she says. "Working with my friends and the teachers involved to bring the musical to life was a time in my life that I will never forget."
Although she wanted to join more CCAs, she had to prioritise her academics as a Sixth Former. "So I joined the Math and Psychology support sessions," she says. "But I don’t regret taking them, as those sessions helped me improve my grade quite a lot."
