Tom Shennan graduated with a BN (Hons) Learning Disability Nursing, gaining experience through a mix of practical placements and academic learning. His daily work, from brightening the days of children with activities to supporting adults with managing finances, highlighted how small actions can make his patients feels so much better.

The University of Chester supported Shennan throughout these experiences via approachable lecturers, constructive feedback, and access to extensive resources. Workshops, seminars, and research opportunities further enhanced his practical skills and academic confidence.
