Originally from Morocco, Mounia Kadrouch, a BSc (Hons) Psychology student, chose to study in the UK because it aligns with her academic background and career goals. Having attended an English-speaking school, going to uni in an English-speaking country felt like a natural step.

She was drawn to the University of Chester for its strong psychology programme and the opportunities it provides to explore the subject beyond lectures.

"I enjoy the research labs, which allow students to discover the subject outside a lecture hall," Kadrouch says. "Experimenting with high-tech equipment provided by the university during the psychology lab groups is one of my favourite things the course has to offer."

After graduation, Kadrouch plans to pursue a master’s degree in paediatric neuropsychology. Her work experience at an autism centre in Morocco reinforced her passion for supporting children who need psychological help.
