Explore the wonders of California
World-class academics are great, but do you know what’s even better? Balancing excellence within the classroom with a fulfilling and vibrant experience outside of it. San Francisco, just a 20-minute ride away via public transportation, is where you’ll find the oldest Chinatown in North America, amongst historic Victorian architecture and hip independent shops.
If you need to step away from the cityscape, take a trip to some of California’s most beautiful parks and landmarks, whether that’s hiking the trails of Yosemite National Park or visiting beautiful Lake Tahoe. Drive into Napa Valley, just an hour north, and you’ll catch the gorgeous scenery of wine country, home to more than 400 wineries.

Kick off your career in the U.S.
Alongside a certificate of completion, should you decide to study with Berkeley Global for two semesters—which you can do by stacking two professional diploma programs together—you could become eligible to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT). This gives you the opportunity to work in a field directly related to your area of study for a year after completing two professional diploma programs.

“I learned so much from these courses that will help in my future career. It was also a great experience doing case studies with my classmates and getting hands-on experience. The quality of the program is really good. You learn from instructors who are professionals in their fields. They know what it is like in the workplace and provide useful information. It is a unique kind of learning. Also, the opportunity to be in the Bay Area is great. There is so much diversity, innovation and technology, along with a unique culture.”
Eduardo Dischinger
“Really listen to what your teachers have to say. For example, when I got there we heard that it is important to interact and network with people in the Bay Area. In Brazil, meeting a new person for coffee without a reference is a bit strange—but in the Bay Area, this is so normal.”

An enriching study abroad experience awaits at Berkeley Global.
My long-term goal is to become a subject matter expert in supply chain, which is the backbone of the industry. I found BGSU's Logistics Systems Engineering program is a combination of engineering and management, which helps me to enhance my knowledge and skills. I joined BGSU in January 2022 and got the opportunity to work as a Graduate Assistant on an industrial project under the guidance of Dr. Sarder.
