“Our core theme of 'social transformations' speaks directly to the seismic societal shifts we are experiencing: in society, politics, economy, culture, and everyday life. We identify the key transformations occurring and how to evaluate and intervene in them, using classic and cutting-edge sociological ideas and research. All of our modules combine theory and substantive issues at the macro and the micro levels. Our topics speak to contemporary debates and current policy agendas. The world is changing around us, and we need theoretically informed and empirically centred analyses of these changes.”
