The UCC Sports Law Clinic is the only undergraduate clinic of its kind in the world. It takes the form of a clinic module during the academic year and is based on an active learning model. 

Students work on specific legal issues such as doping, governance, and disciplinary proceedings in a wide range of sports, including rugby, athletics, soccer, and boxing. They engage in research-related activities, such as compiling amicus briefs for clients and delivering information sessions to club sports organisations and their volunteers, too.
