The IT Law Clinic is made possible by UCC's membership in the iLINC, known as the European Network of Law Incubators. Here, postgraduate law students offer guidance to startups on a range of legal issues, including copyright law, web domain names, electronic commerce law, and data protection law. 

The clinic is linked to UCC's LLM in Intellectual Property and E-Law programme — making it the first law clinic in any Irish university to give students a chance to apply their knowledge of these dynamic legal areas to real problems faced by businesses.
