MD/MPH Candidate, Class of 2022

I was involved in multiple projects during my MPH year outside of my coursework. I volunteered as part of an outreach team (the Digital Onboarding Taskforce) to call patients and assess their need of digital monitoring devices.

I called and recruited Philadelphia residents for the COVID-19 vaccine. I spearheaded an event to build 20,000 face shields for the Jefferson ED at the beginning of the pandemic; I worked on multiple qualitative projects on the following topics: dementia, opioid use disorder and gender bias in medicine.

The MPH year was one of the best decisions I have made, and I am so lucky to have met an incredible community of passionate individuals who are working so hard to achieve health equity.
