If you are interested in unravelling the mysteries of the universe, consider the MSci and BSc Physics with Astrophysics programmes. You can specialise in astronomy and astrophysics thanks to tailored modules such as Cosmology, Structure of Galaxies and Extreme Astrophysics.

As with all the school’s physics degrees, involvement in research is a key part of this programme. Students carry out research projects using data from international facilities like the James Webb Space Telescope or supercomputer simulations. They also have access to rooftop and portable telescopes for research projects or recreational observing and astrophotography.
