SZTE’s Faculty of Dentistry is established as the regional centre for dental care in the Southeastern region of Hungary. It provides a high-quality learning environment for the students, where a great emphasis is placed on practical teaching.

For the first two years of this Dental Medicine Programme students will learn the basic sciences of medicine and dentistry. The third year and beyond will focus on the study of dental diseases and treatment, but the final two years are for intensive clinical study of the many disciplines of dentistry.

For the final year, students also have elective programmes, clinical conferences and hospital-based training. This programme truly brings together the basic and clinical sciences with the thinking that scientific and professional development cannot be separated but learnt in a more holistic way.
