At Whitman School, you have the chance to design a programme that’s suited towards your own needs and goals. Students can specialise in up to two of seven concentrations, including Accounting, Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship and Emerging Enterprises, Finance, Marketing Management, Real Estate, and Supply Chain Management. Smaller class sizes help create greater opportunities to interact with your professors and learn from the diverse, accomplished group of students alongside you.

As part of the two-year programme, full-time MBA students are expected to complete six credits of experiential learning through a minimum of two experiences. This could either be through internships or a course-based experience. In the past, Syracuse MBA students have landed internships with globally-recognised companies such as Atlantic Records, Procter & Gamble Company, and the New York Department of Finance.

All students develop critical thinking skills as they solve complex business scenarios, network with online MBA students in major cities or study abroad with a global residency course. With Whitman, your opportunities are limitless.

Syracuse University is bustling with a large student population, with an impressive 21,322 students. Postgraduate students, however, only make up 6,193 of this number, allowing for smaller class sizes and one-on-one mentoring opportunities. Alumni come from 171 different countries. Many still maintain connections with the university, creating a tight-knit community who are happy to help current students with internships and other learning opportunities.

Students at Syracuse often boast about the university’s scenic campus, which is reminiscent of a quaint historical town. The campus overlooks the City of Syracuse, the fifth-largest city in New York State and the third most secure large metropolitan area in the nation. Students love the city for its cultural and business advantages, along with many entertainment, dining, and shopping options. Alongside that is the city’s expanses of open space and wilderness, allowing students to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities like skiing, hiking, ice skating, camping, apple picking, rafting, and horseback riding.

A short drive takes students to New York City, a leading hub of politics, economy, and culture. It’s a source of inspiration for many, reminding Syracuse students of the endless possibilities their future careers may hold.
