Accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music, Stetson’s School of Music — Florida’s first collegiate music school — has a tradition of world-class instruction that dates back to 1936. Today, it houses over 300 majors and minors and 52 artist-scholar faculty. They can be found at the University’s DeLand Campus, where students have enough room to practice their craft while relishing extra-curricular activities — which often extend to the greater Orlando area, throughout the US and across the globe as well through faculty-led tours and performance schedules.
In on-campus classrooms or studios, students undergo professional, one-to-one training in the form of 12 individual majors across three degree options in four areas: Music Education, Music Performance, Music Academics, and Composition.
