Originally hailing from Korea, Juchan Woo travelled over 7,000 miles to join the Solebury community. Despite the challenges of adapting to a new environment and learning in a non-native language school, Woo is thriving. He’s joined sports teams from baseball to cross country and track, and is a leader in the International Students Association. He has a particular passion for computer science, emphasising web application and game design. 

“Before coming to the US to study, I was afraid that living in a totally different environment would be hard,” she says. “However, Solebury School is such a caring community, and both the faculty and other students made me immediately comfortable. They made me feel at home and like this was my place, and so I’ve been able to give my best during my years here.”
