Steven Graves found his calling for broadcasting at SU, an institution with a knack for turning passions into professions. Here, he got to hone many skills, from managing time and building sets to interviewing guests and reading a teleprompter. As president of SU-TV, he helped revive the student-run station into something that could bring life to the campus and the many diverse voices within it.

After SU, Graves's career took off. He worked for CBS Chicago and now anchors the morning news for WPBF 25 in Florida. Throughout his career, he focused on uplifting stories and giving a voice to diverse communities — a practice he embraced ever since his SU days. These experiences taught him the importance of being a leader and a source of inspiration for others.
