3 areas of focus - teaching, research and practice | 100% online
The Master of Arts in Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution programme prepares you to address conflicts at local, regional, and global levels in both public and private sectors. You'll learn to view conflict as an opportunity for growth and gain the skills to become an effective conflict resolution practitioner across a variety of fields and settings.
At SU, you’ll benefit from hands-on learning through the Bosserman Center for Conflict Resolution, a “teaching hospital” model combining research with real-world practice. The programme’s balanced curriculum blends theory, practical skills, and research, while unique opportunities — like learning from Arun Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi — will enhance your learning experience. Starting Fall 2025, this programme will be available online.
“In Mediation Theory and Practice, I developed foundational mediation skills, learning how to guide discussions and help parties find common ground — an essential ability in cross-cultural settings. Introduction to Conflict Analysis and Resolution taught me to critically analyse conflicts from multiple perspectives, which has proven invaluable for understanding the complexities of intercultural and international disputes.” Sarah Josefine Lindbjerg, MA in CADR student.
