Maxx, a Year 9 addition to QE from Hong Kong, quickly endeared himself to the college community with his insatiable curiosity and zeal for a wide range of activities. His Year 10 GCSE results were exceptional, securing the highest grade of 9 in Business, Chinese, History, and Mathematics.

But Maxx's achievements extend well beyond good grades. He earned Gold in the Intermediate Mathematics Challenge and the British Physics Olympiad. He has dabbled in Mechanical Engineering Work Experience, delving into areas like Robotics, Electronics, Structural Engineering, Designing, Machining, and 3D Printing. He's also an accomplished pianist, reaching Grade 6 ABRSM in Piano and now tackling Grade 8 pieces.

For all his achievements, Maxx still actively contributes to the QE community as a prefect. Reflecting on his role, he says: "This has helped me become more proactive in my contributions to school life and in encouraging others to participate in the numerous activities available at QE."
