If you’re interested in learning how to use big data to understand and serve cities, this is the degree for you. The program provides the necessary competencies to navigate and manage a city’s data: skills like data analytics, quantitative analysis, data mining, machine learning, and data visualization. Three concentrations are available: Climate and Resilience; Communities and Economic Development; and Transportation and Infrastructure.

When you are ready to translate your knowledge into action, take advantage of Northeastern’s co-op experience, where you can join a business, non-profit, or government organization that aligns with your aspirations.

Once you complete this program, you can secure a spot among the next wave of urban professionals ready to lead in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. The best part is the flexibility of the program. Delivered in person, online, or through a combination of both, this MS is designed to fit into your life, no matter what responsibilities you’re balancing.
