Are you interested in gaining core competencies in bioinformatics programming, integrating knowledge from the biological, computational, and mathematical disciplines? Achieve all the above with Northeastern's Master of Science in Bioinformatics. Upon completion, you will be equipped to solve biological problems by applying bioinformatics and computational methods.
This is done by immersing yourself in a non-theses, industry-focused curriculum comprising fundamental coursework on computational methods, programming, and statistics, enhanced by electives in molecular biology, biochemistry, molecular modeling, web development, database design and management, data mining, and other related topics. There are seven concentrations for specialization to cater to varied interests and passions.
