Electrical and Computer Engineering
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering began graduating students with the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1953. ABET-accredited, the degree has required courses that have both synchronous online and on-campus options. All elective courses are online. Students can also choose to complete the Power & Energy Engineering or Instrumentation & Control certificates.
Those seeking to advance their careers can apply for the Master of Engineering or Master of Engineering Science in Electrical Engineering. The Doctor of Engineering degree has a competitive scholarship and assistantship if you are qualified with research interests relating to those of the engineering faculty.
A key highlight of this department is that faculty members’ specialities span all areas of electrical engineering, including Electronics, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Power and Energy, Instrumentation and Control and Robotics.
