The program has exposed me to many different aspects related to biological systems. Being in the machinery option, I took a lot of classes relating to machinery and mechanical engineering. A lot of the BAE machinery classes have a lab or hands-on portion. We had a lab class where we got to collect data using a PTO dyno and see different impacts on tractor power output. The department also has engine, transmission, and differential cutaways that we used in labs to supplement what we learned in lectures and provide visual and hands-on learning aspects.

The program has provided me with experience and knowledge that has prepared me for my future career, where I will work as an Electrification Software Controls Engineer at John Deere.
