“I think Iowa State is very unique because this department has everything on campus — it has farms on and near campus as well as the top world-leading research, and we get to see everything including how I can contribute to this industry. In that sense, Iowa State was a really good place to prepare me and learn how I could fit into this industry.

I enjoy working with people in this industry. The people are generally really open and kind here in Iowa, but especially when I work with animal science people. I feel this is rewarding, just like working with family. 

The Department of Animal Science prepared me to work in the industry in a way that I was ready to communicate and understand the culture in the US, especially in this industry.”
