Rustam Juraev

Rustam’s HKBU journey began with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). Closer to completion, he began exploring his options to remain at the university. He then discovered the Master of Science (MSc) in Business Management (MScBM) programme. Its Capstone Project and Business Field Study intrigued the student enough to apply. Today, he has no regrets.

“During my Capstone, I worked closely with a local FinTech company to apply what I had learned in the classroom to real-life business scenarios,” he explains. “This was an extremely valuable experience as I got to work on actual business problems and contribute to the company's growth. Meanwhile, through the Business Field Study course, I will soon travel to the city of Dijon, France, where I will visit a company and observe how they operate.”

Upon graduating, Rustam plans to pursue a full-time position at an insurance company before eventually transitioning to working on his projects and executing innovative ideas in the insurance industry.

When Rustam was ready to pursue his passion for economics, he knew he had to pick a university in one of the world’s financial centres. “The HKBU School of Business was an ideal choice for me, as it provides top-quality education in a dynamic and multicultural environment,” he says.
