Over two centuries ago, a group of visionary entrepreneurs, scholars, theorists, and economists in Paris laid the foundation for what would become the world’s first business school: ESCP Business School. Today, its legacy stretches across Europe, from Berlin, London, and Madrid, to Paris, Turin, and Warsaw (and one branch campus in Dubai), continuing to offer students everywhere a window into innovation in Europe.

Philosophically, being part of [ESCP’s] Blue Factory has been essential. Building a mission-driven startup like Maa Biodiversity can be isolating, especially when navigating complex topics like forest ecology and carbon finance. Having a supportive environment where other founders are facing similar operational and strategic challenges while working in different sectors brings perspective, accountability, and fresh ideas. The diversity of viewpoints within the Blue Factory has really helped us stay grounded while refining our long-term vision. It also gave us rhythm and accountability: regular check-ins, concrete milestones are needed for us to keep up the pace. That cadence has been priceless for our team.

What initially stood out to me about ESCP was its global reputation and presence. Having multiple campuses throughout Europe allowed me not to limit myself to choosing a single country or market, and it will allow me to live in four different countries before I graduate. I was also highly impressed by the fact that all their students are able to find work after graduation – something very important to me as I face the current job market. I liked the flexibility that the MIM gave me, not only in choosing my campuses, but also in choosing my courses for the industry I hope to go into. I had so many specialisations and classes to choose from, and I ended up choosing differently from what I had initially planned before my first semester.

One MBA, multiple routes to success

The ESCP MBA has four specialisations: Consulting, Entrepreneurship, Luxury, and Fintech and Innovation. Each ensures deep learning through practical work and case studies that give real-time experience. 

For example, through the Company Consultancy Projects, you work in teams of five to six on practical challenges. You’ll deliver impactful recommendations, master research methods, and effectively present and communicate insights.

And if you opt to study in the London campus in the second semester, you can choose one of two options: the London Standard Route or the London Graduate Immigration Route. Both promise different post-study and work visa opportunities; those who choose the immigration route will complete a 16-week internship or work placement.

The 85,000+ ESCP alumni are active in over 200 countries across the world. No matter their positions today, many continue to give back to the business school, be it through career advice, industry insights, or networking opportunities. 

To Luca Don Vito, a 2018 MBA graduate, the network was the most important thing he gained from the programme.
