As the Director of Corporate Sustainability at Six Senses, Jennifer Klar supports 22 hotels globally in their journeys towards becoming more sustainable. She tracks energy use, conducts audits, comes up with action plans, partners with regional directors, share best practices and celebrates successes. On any given day, she’s working with people across all levels and backgrounds.

It’s something she does with ease thanks to EHL. “In my class at EHL, we had more than 15 different nationalities. Working in different groups and overcoming personal and cultural challenges have prepared me well to manage an international team and improve my language and people skills,” she says.

Studying on three continents during three semesters connected her to the industry too. Her master’s degree capstone project was with Six Senses and revolved around sustainability.
