Succeeding in management and business requires a diverse range of knowledge and skills. EIT understands this, which is why the Master of Applied Management covers eight areas of professional competence: money, markets, people and culture, planning, technology, innovation, globalisation, and sustainability. These fields are applied to the context of two focus areas: sustainable businesses and small-to-medium-sized enterprises.

Students pursuing the Master of Information Technology (MIT) programme are able to apply theory into research and practice, whether through case studies, real-life simulations, or practical work. You can choose from one of three pathways to grow problem-solving skills: coursework, industry-integrated, or research.
As a graduate, you’ll have the knowledge, skills, and experience to pursue a range of career opportunities including roles such as systems analyst, IT consultant, business analyst, IT infrastructure analyst, or e-commerce advisor. As the IT sector deals with skills shortages in New Zealand and internationally, many EIT IT graduates will be well placed to apply their skills to even more roles beyond these mentioned.
