Outside the classroom, Sean channels his inner changemaker. Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi actively encourages students to pursue the UN Global Goals through project-based learning. Once, Sean and his peers created and illustrated a sustainable city, annotating sections to showcase the application of specific UN Global Goals. Such activities led to his decision to one day pursue a career in architecture.

Year 8 student Sean joined Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi to learn about more cultures and traditions from far and wide. After settling into his new home, it wasn’t long before he began mastering the Chinese language.

Along the way, he discovered a passion for the sciences and history. He recalls a time when his teacher Mr. King assigned the class a page of questions to answer, which was followed by another. “I felt as if it were torture, but if he had not done that, I would not have gotten an A* in my Geography test,” says Sean.
