The Master of Engineering in Game Design, Development & Innovation stands out for covering not only game design and development, but also areas such as design principles, user experience, storytelling, and leadership. Business courses – such as Management of High Tech Industries and Business Fundamentals for Engineers – are required, alongside two technical electives. Choose from Game Engine & Tools Development, Artificial Intelligence in Games, 3D Animation & MoCap, Networking & Multiplayer, and more.
You’ll then apply your knowledge through opportunities to work with industry. A team-based Capstone Project takes your game from idea to publishing-ready over two years, while the Industry Internship/Project lets you create industry-quality work to add to a portfolio to show potential employers.
Multidisciplinary and explorational, this programme will prepare you to work for AAA and indie studios, or to create serious games in fields like education, health care, and scientific research.
