Consider it the tech-savvy alternative to the MBA. Interdisciplinary and flexible, Duke’s Master of Engineering Management is one of the founding members of the Master of Engineering Management Programmes Consortium, a small group of highly recognised graduate-level programmes in engineering management.
The programme fuses technical skills with business training to create the well-equipped leaders that organisations need to solve complex problems. You’ll complete core courses – marketing, intellectual property, business law, and entrepreneurship, finance in high-tech industries, and management of high-tech industries – before taking on electives aimed at in-demand skill sets, such as Data Analytics and Machine Learning or Operations and Supply Chain Management. An internship is required – you can work on a well-defined project with a company anywhere in the world. Consulting Practicums and the Seminar & Workshop Series offer more experiential learning opportunities.
