Having the honour of studying at Downside has been a truly life-changing experience for me. Living in a foreign country, surrounded by people from all around the world, exposed me to new cultures and ways of thinking, making me a more open-minded and well-rounded person. Time has flown by since I arrived at Downside in the Lower Sixth and not a day goes by where I do not feel fortunate to be here; it is a wonderful place with so many kind people.

Downside has so very much to offer and has truly encouraged my passions as well as creating many new ones. From fencing to learning to play the trombone. I have tried so many new things that I would have never had the chance to do in Spain. I would sincerely recommend Downside to any international student who has the chance to come and study here in the UK.

I have become familiar with the British education system and its standards which has truly strengthened my pursuit of higher ambitions. Hence, I relish the opportunity to study French and Law at University. My dream would be to study in multiple countries as choosing between Spain and the UK would be a hard decision for me.

I will always be indebted to Downside for giving me the opportunity to learn so many invaluable skills, meet incredible people and preparing me for life beyond School. The connection between everyone at Downside is something I will hold onto for the rest of my life.
