The Faculty of Management is home to Dalhousie’s Undergraduate business and management programs. Our Graduate programs are in the realm of business and leadership extending into public service, information science, and research-intensive studies.
With excellence as the standard in the classroom, students are also supported by an expert team of advisors who provide academical, professional and personal support. Whether you’re interested in the opportunity to do paid work terms, or want the flexibility to pursue multiple interests, or you’re a mid-career professional looking for a flexible program allowing you to work and study, you can pursue it here.
Home to a broad spectrum of incubator and research labs, students can enter the Douglas C. McKay Finance Lab to gain experience in real time investment, or they can investigate the impact of AI on decision making in the Cognitive and Organizational Research Practices Lab (CORG) or take a great idea and try to turn it into a viable business at Dal Innovates. The wealth of opportunities to participate in research, extracurricular programming, and a wide range of societies distinguish the faculty.
We are also a Dynamic Hub, deeply imbedded in a global community. It’s where students, alumni, and faculty meet professionals from private and public enterprises to Collaborate and Innovate. In addition to building knowledge and partnerships that generate social and economic value, our students are mentored by industry’s top professionals, and ready to launch their careers when they graduate.
This is why more than 85% of our graduates are employed within six months of graduation.
