Soonthornsorn, from Thailand, was originally in audit and mergers and acquisitions advisory. However, he wanted to pivot his career towards sustainability and so he decided to enrol at CBS.
“It provided insights into the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) in Europe – which is a set of European Union (EU) rules that aim to make the sustainability profile of funds more comparable and better understood by end-investors,” he says. “The concentration was practical, and I was able to apply these lessons to my internship project in real time. All four modules widened my lens in sustainability from risk to governance, supply chain and more.”
