Dr. Lena Hassani-Nezhad
Programme Director for the MSc programmes in the Department of Economics

This programme offers students the opportunity to explore and understand how local, national and international issues impact how policy is created and implemented across a wide range of subject areas such as health, crime, migration and diplomacy. We want students to be equipped with both the fundamental theoretical knowledge around the key stakeholders in policy making as well as have the skills necessary to design and implement these policies in the real world.
Dr. Steven Buckley
Programme Director for the Policy and Global Affairs MSc

This programme combines the critical expertise of both the Department of Sociology and Criminology and the Department of Computer Science. This combination sets us apart from related programmes and underlines how society is evolving. In short, organisations no longer want individuals who can just grapple with data, but individuals who can ask critical questions about how technology is shaping society.
Dr. Michael Saker
Programme Co-Director for the Data, Policy and Society MS
