For example, in partnership with Charles Sturt, IBM brought a massive economic boost to Bathurst in 2021 with the announcing of a new regional innovation centre. “This is going to be our own mini Silicon Valley,” said the Honourable Paul Toole MP, Deputy Premier of NSW.
“The partnership connects with each of our key focus areas of the University’s 2030 strategy that will see us achieve excellence in teaching and learning for our students; world-class standards for our research; engaged and highly-capable staff; and social responsibility in our outward engagement,” added Fiona Nash, Charles Sturt’s Strategic Advisor of Regional Engagement and Government Relations.
At Charles Sturt, dreams become reality. The University is home to over 350 courses across 19 career areas that are versatile enough to cater to every aspiration — think agricultural and wine sciences; animal and veterinary sciences; allied health and pharmacy; business; Christian theology and ministry; communication and creative industries; dentistry and oral health; environmental science; or psychology; amongst many others.
Thanks to the Division of Learning and Teaching, student learning is enhanced constantly and lineups are fine-tuned according to current industry demands.

It’s no secret that Charles Sturt graduates get jobs faster than any other university (84.6% of graduates gained full-time employment in 2021) — international students included.
