Personal Support Worker

Personal support workers are needed across the globe to cater to clients with physical, cognitive, emotional, and behavioural challenges. This programme teaches students to master this role through lessons in nutritional menu planning; mental health; clinical and community care; simulation and lab work; diseases and pharmacology; and exposure to patient-client home care.

To ensure their career preparedness, they learn in classrooms, within communities, and in Canadore’s home environment simulation lab equipped with high-end fidelity audio/visual equipment and interactive mannequins.

Upon completion, certificate-holders will be able to help individuals in long-term care facilities, community centres, hospitals, hospices, and more.
